In 2023, Southern Lakes Sanctuary received $50,000 from Rod Drury to purchase and install an arsenal of thirty five innovative self-resetting traps at Coronet Face. This work complements an ambitious restoration project to recloak Coronet, involving a partnership including Trees That Count, Soho Properties, and Te Tapu O Tāne.

The results have been staggering. In less than a year, 1338 predators have been removed.
